The municipality of Boadilla del Monte is part of the Metropolitan Area of Madrid, located northwest of the capital, of which it is 15 kilometers away. It has a population of 18,450 inhabitants and approximately 47.2 square kilometers. It borders the municipalities of Majadahonda, Pozuelo de Alarcón, Alcorcón, Villaviciosa de Odón and Villanueva de la Cañada. It belongs in all its extension to the basin of the Guadarrama river.
This municipality experienced a strong increase in population in the mid-seventies with the establishment in residential areas of a large number of single-family residences. In the coming years, it will once again experience a large increase in population as a result of the liberalization of large areas of land that are already being urbanized. In this municipality we also find the financial city of Banco Santander.
Boadilla del Monte has four bus lines that connect with Madrid (571, 573, 591 and 574). On July 27, 2007, the light rail line ML-3 was opened to the public, connecting Boadilla del Monte with the Metro station of the city of Madrid Colonia Jardín. The urbanization is located in sector B, in one of the best areas of Boadilla, with large green areas, services, restaurants, shops and direct access to the M-50, 5m from H.
